The UW System Board of Regents approved the 2015-16 annual operating budget at the July 9, 2015, board meeting in Madison. An extensive news summary is posted here.
The meeting also included an introduction of Jon Miskowski as the new director of television at Wisconsin Public Television, a role formerly held by James Steinbach, who recently retired after 25 years with Wisconsin Public Television. UW System President Ray Cross noted Miskowski’s background as a “veteran fundraiser” and said, “He’s been a critical part of many key projects at Wisconsin Public Television.” President Cross listed several of these projects, including Wisconsin War Stories, LZ Lambeau and Wisconsin Hometown Stories.
